Creating solutions for complex problems has always been a drive for me – I enjoyed it so much I eventually graduated as a designer and a Civil Engineer. Though I did enjoy calculus and math, I am a designer through and through. Nonetheless, studying engineering gave me technical and logical skills I use in my everyday work as a designer.
I was born in Manaus, Brazil, where I started my career in graphic design and print. In 2012, I moved to London to pursue a Master's degree in Magazine Publishing at London College of Communication. At the time, I wanted to design magazines.
After designing my first application and researching the changing relationship between traditional and digital media for my dissertation, I found a new passion – user experience. I’ve been immersed in the digital industry ever since.
I am currently based in the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro, shaping the future of software development at CodeSandbox. I was previously a Lead Product Designer at Globo.com, the biggest media conglomerate in Latin America, and a UI designer at Nokia's Institute of Technology.
